Where I’d rather be..

Hello everyone! So, school has officially started, hence the reason I haven’t been too active lately. I’m currently in Zagreb for college, which is the capitol of Croatia, and it’s located inland. I’ve never lived inland before, I always lived next to the ocean or the sea, so I’m definitely missing the sea right now. Which is one of the reasons why Kornati Islands is where I’d rather be right now. I went there a little over a month ago and fell in love, I mean how could I not? Look at how crystal clear and beautiful that water is.

Day 3 in Venice

Hello lovelies! I’m so sad that summer is slowly coming to an end but I still have so many fun summer memories to share with you guys. I’m off to college in a couple of days (with mixed feelings) but all the summer pictures I’ll post here will help me survive school. Ta ta for now!

Day 2 in Venice

Hello loves! I spent my second day in Venice wandering around and sight seeing, but before I could do any of that, I needed to fuel up first. The hotel I stood at provided us with breakfast, so I had some fruit, yogurt, coffee, and a muffin. Then it was off to the fun stuff.

At 9am it was time to explore the canals of Venice via gondola.

Then, a little bit of running around (not literally since it was hot as hell out and I was stuck wearing long pants.)

We went to Saint Marks square with a tour group where we learned all about the history of the square and Saint Mark’s Basilica. 

and of course, had some delicious ice cream. 

Day 1 in Venice

Hello everyone! I recently went to Venice with my friend Niki for two nights. I’ve already been to Venice, but I didn’t really mind going again. When we arrived to the Venice airport in the evening, a taxi boat picked us up and drove us to the center.

Once we found our hotel, we got ready and went out for dinner.

I’m not much of a wine drinker, but being in Venice made me feel like being a wine drinker. I realized shortly after I was wrong, and that I still hate wine. At least it looks nice in the pictures!

Split

Hi everyone! I’ve been a little busy lately but I’m back. 🙂 I recently went to Split with a few friends and spent the night. We went the day before the Ultra Europe Music Festival, so we knew Split was going to be filled with young people like us. First thing we did when we got to Split was go to the beach. We went to Bacvice beach which was perfect for a dip in the sea and a nice cocktail afterwards. Then, we came back to the apartment we rented, got ready for the night, and went out for dinner and then back to Bacvice beach since there was a party, and a variety of clubs.

Beachin’ it at Murter

    

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven’t been updating too often, I’m just trying to live this summer to the fullest and I hope you guys are too! It has been perfect beach weather lately so I’ve been swimming every day. This beautiful beach is located near Sibenik, and is a bit over an hour drive, but totally worth it. The sea is so clear and beautiful here (like everywhere else in Croatia) and made for a very nice relaxing beach day. Have a great day!

Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day! Although Father’s Day isn’t celebrated in Croatia, we still celebrated by going out to lunch. Since my dad is currently in America, my mom wanted to go to lunch with my grandpa so we did just that. After lunch, we hit the beach. Have a good day!

Testing Out the Sea Scooter

Hi everyone! Today Luka and I decided to take the Sea Scooter for a spin. It’s something my dad bought a few years ago but I kind of forgot about it, so today was the first time I used it. I had a lot of fun with it, and although it doesn’t go too fast, I still felt like I was zooming through the sea. I will definitely have to use it again soon! 🙂

Petrčane

Hi guys! I have been so tired lately due to my new summer job. The good news is that I only have 11 days left of working and then I’m free. I still manage to squeeze in going to the beach since it’s so hot outside and the beach relaxes me. Today after work Luka and I decided to go to Petrčane which is about a 15-20 minute drive from where I live. I hope you all have a great day!
